A Contrastive Study On Directional Expression And Error Analysis Between Spanish And Chinese

Spanish native speakers account for 8% of the total human population,and more than 40000 Spanish native speakers study Chinese in China.The cause of teaching Chinese as a foreign language needs to be deepened.On this basis,a comparative study of Chinese and Western grammar is urgently needed.With the help of Spanish native language students’ acquisition errors,it can effectively solve the difficulties of Spanish native language students in learning Chinese.This paper takes Talmy’s theory of frame language types as the research perspective,and takes directional verbs as the research object to find the similarities and differences in syntax,semantics and pragmatics between the two languages.This paper first sorts out the four types of chinese and spanish movement event sentences to clarify the similarities and differences of chinese and spanish trend expressions.The linguistic components of Chinese and Spanish verb frames are basically the same,but the scope and function of their syntactic components are different,and the additional components that can appear in sentences are also different.The Chinese satellite frame language is quite different from the Spanish satellite frame language in terms of composition,syntactic structure,coverage of components and semantic features.On this basis,this paper collects the real corpus of Spanish native speakers’ directional verbs through the intermediary corpus,and obtains a large number of erroneous sentences.And classify and analyze the data of errors,and conclude four types of errors: omission,wrong addition,wrong generation and wrong order.Based on the comparison between Chinese and Western languages,error study and cause analysis,the author puts forward corresponding suggestions for Spanish native speakers to learn Chinese directional verbs and directional expressions.It is hoped that it can provide suggestion and improve comparison between chinese and spanish,the translation between Chinese and Western languages,and the Chinese teaching practice in Spanish speaking countries.
