Directional verb plays a significant role in Chinese teaching. For many overseas students’ mother language have no directional verb, it become very difficult to learn directional verbs and even they made lots of mistakes. Based on the former studies, in this thesis the directional verb was carefully classified, and we also try to find out its common characteristic and also its differences. The common characteristics consist of error adding, replacing, missing, error disorder and newly found types. In the mean time the author found its differences for example the Japan, Korea, Thailand,Malaysia. For example, the student from Korea would mistake the position between the object and the verb. The student form Japan cannot distinguish the difference between the “lai(æ¥) “and “qu(去)â€. The student form Thailand would leave off the word “lai(æ¥)â€. The student from Malaysia and Indonesia would mistake the simple directional complement and compound complement. Through the analysis on their characteristics, the author found out that the student form different countries would make mistake respectively as they were effected by their own grammar system. The author made a lesson plan on the basis of the theory and practice and hope it will be helpful to the further study. |
