School is an important place for individual growth, which has an important impact on the academic development and socialization of middle school students. When individuals feel uncomfortable in the school environment, unable to establish a stable and normal connection with others,or even dominated, controlled or hurt by the object, they will have a sense of school alienation.School alienation will hinder teenagers’ physical and mental health and future development,so its influencing factors and mechanism have gradually become the focus of researchers.Through consulting relevant literature,it is found that not only external factors will affect teenagers’ mental health, but also teenagers’ internal factors are closely related to the occurrence of various psychological crisis problems. However,at present, the domestic research on the influencing factors of school alienation is still in its infancy, and most of them ignore the impact of individual unique cognitive development characteristics on school alienation in adolescence. As the unique cognitive concept of teenagers, hypothetical audience has been proved to be closely related to the generation of alienation. Therefore, this study intends to explore its impact on middle school students’ sense of school alienation from the perspective of imaginary audience, and further investigate the mediating role of interpersonal distress and the regulating role of class psychological environment based on the two factor theory of self-awareness,attribution demand theory and ecosystem theory,In order to provide some feasible suggestions for the prevention and improvement of middle school students’ school alienation. This study adopts the method of questionnaire and individual interview. The research content is divided into two parts,.The first part is a questionnaire survey.1315 middle school students were taken as subjects, and the relevant data were collected by using the Middle School Students’ School Alienation Questionnaire, the Imaginary Audience Subscale of Adolescent Self-centered Scale, the Comprehensive Diagnosis Scale Of Interpersonal Relationship and the Search Scale Of Primary And Secondary School Class Psychological Environment.Finally,1140 valid data were collected to analyze the current situation of middle school students’ school alienation and its relationship with imaginary audience, interpersonal problems and class psychological environment. The second part is individual interview. On the basis of study 1,an interview outline is prepared, and 30 middle school students are interviewed,so as to further supplement and explore the results of the questionnaire survey. The results are as follows:First, the sense of school alienation of middle school students in this study is generally at the lower middle level, but there are some problems in the sense of unintentionalness and maladjustment.Second, the imaginary audience of middle school students is significantly positively correlated with interpersonal problems and school alienation. There is a significant negative correlation between class psychological environment and hypothetical audience, interpersonal distress and school alienation.Third, interpersonal distress plays a partial intermediary role in the relationship between middle school students’ hypothetical audience and school alienation.Fourth, the class psychological environment has a moderating effect on the mediating effect of interpersonal relationship distress between middle school students’ hypothetical audience and school alienation. The class psychological environment not only regulates the first half path of the mediating process, but also regulates the second half path of the mediating process. At the same time,it also regulates the direct path, showing a moderating mediating model.
