There are great changes in living environment for students of junior middle high school. Because of the learning pressure, students spend a lot of time to learn every day. So they ignore the processing of interpersonal relationship, which mainly includes relationships with the teachers, classmates and friends, etc. High students are in adolescence. They hope that they can get the welcome and identity in peer interaction. If they can’t meet the need. It may cause a variety of interpersonal problems. At the same time, the study of group psychological counseling is also growing. Previous researches found that high school students’interpersonal relationships affect their mental health. Group counseling can improve interpersonal relationships. Group psychological counseling can be applied to the mental health education of senior high school students in the class. But the guidance is relatively lacking.The aim of this research is to apply Group psychological counseling to enhance the high school students’interpersonal skills and relationships. Diagnostic scales are used to determine the main problems of high student in interpersonal communication. There are eight classes and four phase specific group counseling program. We investigated some high school students of grade one in Wuhan city. We explored whether there is a difference between before the study and after the study or not.This research adopts the questionnaire investigation method before group counseling and after group counseling. We used the paired samples T test to measure the scale of data. The results showed that significant difference exists in the dimension of bashfulness (p< 0.05). There are significant differences on total score of the dimensions of troubled conversation and dating(p< 0.05). The results show that students have improved in interpersonal communication. They dare to communicate with others and express themselves. There are big changes in cognition and behavior of interpersonal relationship.Research conclusions:interpersonal group counseling can improve students to learn. Then they can improve interpersonal communication.
