| The art historian Berenson believes that Botticelli is an ingenious linear language designer whose works show the changes of lines incisively and vividly in the picture with few changes of light and shade in the characterization full of plane decoration.In Zhang Xuan’s paintings of ladies in the glorious age of Tang Dynasty,the characters are all outlined with lines and the clothes are mostly painted with decorative colors.The two have some similarities in the painting language.This thesis also starts from this perspective,and integrates the similarities of the two paintings into personal creation.Starting from the female images in Botticelli and Zhang Xuan’s paintings,this thesis begins with an analysis of the causes of the stylistic characteristics of female images from the perspectives of the causes of The Times and the emotions of the painter,and explores the compatibility of the two,namely the secularization and ideal beauty of female images,which provides references for the author’s emotional expression in the picture.Then,from the expression form of the two pictures,explore the expressive force of the lines in the two pictures with specific paintings,the flatness of the application of color,the decorative clothing and summarize the similarities and differences between them,and in this process,think and practice how to combine the two painting language in personal creation more appropriate.Finally,combined with previous exploration experience,the two forms of expression and emotional expression--lines,flatness,female beauty,etc.Thus,I can find the balance point of "Chinese and Western fusion" in my own pictures and form my own painting language. |
