An Interesting Study In Traditional Folk Woodblock Prints

Traditional folk woodblock prints are a unique form of painting in China.It originated in the Yin period,matured in the Song Dynasty,and prospered in the Dynasty.After the founding of the People’s Republic of China,the Ministry of Culture advocated the creation of New Year paintings,and have now become China’s intangible cultural heritage.New Year paintings come from the people,are used by the people,are deeply loved by the masses,have practicality and ornamentation,and their artistic characteristics are also unique.This paper takes the interest of traditional folk woodblock prints as the starting point for research,and analyzes them from the following two perspectives: one is the visual interest in the shape,composition and color of traditional folk woodblock prints,and the other is to analyze the spiritual connotation according to the theme,meaning and painting tips of folk woodblock prints.Finally,combined with his own creative practice,he interprets the understanding,understanding and thinking about the of traditional folk woodblock prints.It is hoped that viewers will become interested in this unique folk art through the fun of traditional folk woodblock prints,and inherit and carry forward Chinese traditional culture.
