Chinese Textbook play an important role in Chinese Language Teaching,a set of high-quality Chinese Textbook conducive to the Chinese teaching activities and effectively promote teaching efficiency.Cambodia is a Southeast Asian country with a relatively high population of Chinese ethnic.Chinese education in Cambodia has a history of more than 70 years and has stagnated above 30 years due to civil war.After the revival of Chinese education in the 1990 s till present,the education been on for more than 30 years,So far,the Chinese textbook(Hua Wen)used by Chinese schools across the country has not received appropriate improvement,It is considered to be the textbooks with big amount of shortcoming.In order to effectively promote the efficiency of Chinese education in Cambodian,as a Chinese ethnic in Cambodia,author decided to do an analysis on Chinese textbook(Hua Wen)and its usage,with the purpose of highlighting the Strong-point and improving the existing shortcoming of the textbook.This paper divided into three parts,The first part is an Introduction to the text content,In the first chapter of this part,the author states the background of the topic of this paper,the related study status of the article,and gives the significance and main purpose of this study,and some significance study method.The second part of the paper start from chapter two to chapter four;Chapter Two focus on the analyzes on selection and arrangement of vocabulary,grammar,Topic of the text refer to“International Curriculum for Chinese Language Education ”,“Chinese Proficiency Grading Standard for International Chinese Language Education ” and some common theory used in Language Acquisition;Chapter three introduces the Usage of textbook,in this part the author conducts student survey and teacher interview for further understanding on text book practicability to give a relevant conclusions on its strong and shortcoming.In Chapter Four the author give comment on the textbooks base on the result in Chapter Two and Chapter Three,along with principles used in textbook analysis,In order to highlight the strong-point and give suggestions for revision the shortcoming,for instance,the topic of the text does not match with User’s interest,Grammar layout and selection still be a remain problem,the wrong position of picture on textbook,Type of exercise and practice,out of date content for reading practice text.The third part of this article author give a whole conclusion to the paper,in other hand this paper also gives support reference on Chinese Textbook Study Project,to compile high quality Chinese Textbook for Chinese School in Cambodia.
