As a local teaching method with Chinese characteristics,Production-Oriented Approach has been widely concerned by the second language circle since it was proposed.Its core concept is to focus on solving the problem of separation of input and output of secondary language learners,which is highly consistent with the teaching objectives of oral Chinese as a foreign language.In order to give full play to the role and value of the Production-Oriented Approach,this paper conducts an example study on how to apply the output-oriented method to the teaching of elementary oral Chinese as a foreign language,and establishes a teaching model based on the examples.First of all,this paper conducts a questionnaire survey and interview on the current situation of classroom teaching in the elementary oral Chinese as a foreign language,and finds that the teaching mode of the elementary oral Chinese as a foreign language course is single and the Production-Oriented Approach has not been fully applied to the elementary oral Chinese as a foreign language,but the level of acceptability is high.Secondly,referring to the teaching mode of the Production-Oriented Approach,the lesson “Have You Seen Peking Opera” in “Conversational Chinese 301”is used as an example,and carries out the design of the output-oriented method applied to the teaching of elementary oral Chinese as a foreign language.The illustration design process finds that the design of each teaching link follows the teaching concept and teaching process of the Production-Oriented Approach.Based on the case study,this paper preliminarily summarizes and constructs a theoretical model of “Elementary Oral Chinese as a Foreign Language Based on Production-Oriented Approach”.It is found that the teaching model is five parts:determining teaching objectives,designing teaching content,formulating teaching plans,conducting teaching activities,and conducting teaching implementation and evaluation.Finally,the shortcomings of this paper and the future research prospects are explored,in order to provide reference for the application of Production-Oriented Approach to elementary oral teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.
