This thesis draws its basis from “Management Research Report of Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area Holding Group Co.Ltd.” The report focuses on the implementation of a “1+3+N” system for salary management,as well as the reform of the state-owned wage determination mechanism. It provides an overview of the reform, its history, design ideas, principles and contents, and key features of“1+3+N” management system.Furthermore,it also outlines the company’s next steps and recaps the results of this reform. This report demonstrates the effectiveness and suitability of the “1+3+N” management system, and its translation study is of crucial importance for the exchange and mutual recognition of remuneration management systems among domestic and foreign companies,as well as the use in translation.Based on functional equivalence, this thesis employs translation techniques such as literal translation, addition, and conversion to translate and analyse the original Chinese text. The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the solutions to problems encountered during translation, such as incomplete words or local terms, and sentences that do not contain the subject matter. In the process of translation, when there is no associated word and a literal translation of the words used in that language and an accompanying comment,it is also possible to use a paraphrase while keeping the expression accurate and without altering its meaning. In spite of this, when the content is more extensive and polished,it can be made more accessible to the reader through a paraphrase. In order to be translated,Chinese sentences are typically divided into lengthy phrases with semicolons or lengthy statements that have multiple subjects in one sentence. In cases where the subject is not included in the sentence before translation,it is usually added to it based on the context.
