With the development of The Times and the further deepening of the internal organization and discipline of civil servants,the challenges faced by managers in organizations are also on the rise.Instead of taking orders unilaterally,civil servants now want genuine and effective two-way communication with their leaders.They also want to share their information and express their true thoughts with their leaders openly.They also hope that leaders can provide them with effective information and choices in a non-joystick way to meet their needs for independent development.The academic circle defines this kind of leadership as authentic leadership.Previous studies have confirmed that authentic leadership has a positive effect on improving subordinate employees’ job performance,job satisfaction and job well-being.However,previous studies on how authentic leadership improves employees’ work well-being by satisfying their basic psychological needs are not sufficient,especially the impact of authentic leadership within organizations on civil servants’ work well-being.Therefore,this study will combine the self-determination theory to explore the specific mechanism of authentic leadership on civil servants’ work well-being.Authentic leadership is a kind of positive leadership style and leadership construct.This study based on self-determination theory,when civil servants individuals feel led to take the higher the level of real type of leadership style,individual civil servants’ satisfaction with the basic psychological needs of the higher,when civil servants individuals experience a high level of basic psychological needs satisfaction,the stronger the individual moral work experience well-being.This study by a university of chengdu reading on-the-job officeholder to issue paper questionnaires,public management in chengdu district department of civil servants to extend around the electronic questionnaire to obtain sample data,the analysis of effective participant sample,found that authentic leadership has a significant positive influence on civil servants work well-being,And this positive influence can play a role by influencing the satisfaction degree of the basic needs of individual civil servants.The satisfaction degree of the basic psychological needs of morality perceived by individual civil servants partially mediates the influence of authentic leadership on civil servants’ work well-being.In other words,the higher the degree of authentic leadership perceived by civil servants,the higher the satisfaction degree of basic psychological needs of civil servants themselves,so that civil servants can experience a higher sense of happiness at work.Finally,this study also puts forward the future research prospects,but also provides some suggestions for the optimization of human resource management in the government.
