Study On The Development Of The Indian National Congress Party Since 2014

Since 2014,the Indian National Congress has lost a series of general elections in India,winning no more than 60 seats in both 2014 and 2019,the INC’s election at the state level in competition with local political parties and the BJP also gradually lost.Until May of 2022,in India 28 states and 8 union territories,the INC only in power in Punjab,Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh alone.Judging from the performance of the Congress in the election and its daily performance,the INC showed obvious signs of decline after 2014.And the decline was not sudden in fact,but the inevitable result with the development of time.The problems in the leadership,organizational structure and ideology of the INC played an important role in the further decline of the INC after 2014.INC in leadership of excessive dependence on the Nehru-Gandhi family,strong central-weak states of the relationship between organizational structure and its inadaptability of ideological of the INC made them gradually lost their competitiveness when they are competition with other parties.So in India’s political life the INC began to no longer hold central leadership.And face the problems appeared in the development of itself,the INC also adopted a series of remediation although the effect is not obvious,the INC needs a deep and thorough reform of the party.So it can go beyond reliance on Nehru-Gandhi family and get rid of the influence of the Nehru-Gandhi family rule.And they also need to balance the organizational structure and stimulate local vitality.Only by going beyond the current development dilemma can the INC really bring the energy to reverse its decline,but so far,it has not done so.
