Research On The Interactive Function Of Government Press Conferences During The Epidemi

As an important form of government information disclosure,an important bridge for media transmission and distribution,and an important channel for the public to reflect their demands,government press conferences have interactive functions.The epidemic press conference can not only help the government convey policies to the public,dispel doubts,ease emotions,and mobilize them to actively cooperate with the government;it can also help the public feedback to the government,achieve a smooth and direct flow of public opinion.In this process,it is conducive to shaping a serviceoriented government and a participatory public,solving the problem of information asymmetry,so as to unite and cooperate to fight the epidemic.This paper takes the idea of how the government and the public can better use press conferences to interact during the epidemic and promote the efficiency and coordination of social governance,summarize the effectiveness and problems of the interaction of the epidemic press conferences,and then propose optimization strategies from three main levels.The government should take active action,speak out in a timely manner,engage in sincere dialogue,improve relevant laws and regulations,and promote the full-time use of press spokespersons;the media should adhere to public orientation,learn to ask questions well,strengthen fact-checking and accountability mechanisms,and guide public opinion correctly;the public should enhance media literacy,express their views rationally,consciously supervise the government,actively cooperate with the government,and improve its governance level.
