Study On Dalian Municipal Government Press Conference Under Sudden COVID-19

The Press conference is the bridge and bond that the government conveys the policies and views to the news media,and the news media will transmit them to the audience.For Public Health Emergencies,it is necessary for the government to hold a press conference,which can ease the psychological tension of the audience,and a successful press conference is an indispensable means to build a service-oriented government.On July 22,2020,COVID-19 broke out in Dalian.After that,the local government of Dalian held regular press conferences every day.A total of 30 press conferences were held until the end of the outbreak.This dissertation focuses on these 30 press conferences,and draws some features of Dalian press conference,such as the continuity of time and the stability of spokesmen,the pertinence of prevention and control information and timely response to rumors;Professionals Timely answer questions and doubts;timely release of case action track and timely adjustment according to changes.This dissertation takes the t press conference of Dalian municipal government under the sudden COVID-19 as the object,and adopts the methods of literature review,statistical analysis,comparative analysis and Content analysis.This dissertation analyzes the content of Dalian municipal government press conference from the present situation,the effect and the characteristics of Dalian municipal government press conference.Through a comparative study of the press conferences on the outbreak of COVID-19 in Xinjiang,Beijing and Dalian,from the comparison of the frequency of holding the press conferences,the comparison of the press spokesman,the comparison of the content of the press conferences,the comparison of the effect of the press conference,the comparison of the number of the view of the press conference,this dissertation draws the enlightenment for the Dalian press conference.After investigation and research,it is found that there are some problems in the press conference of Dalian municipal government,such as unclear role positioning of news spokesman,inflexible on-site release time and single form,lack of prior publicity and poor feedback before the conference,and little interaction between the site and the media.According to these problems,this paper puts forward some solutions,such as strengthening the professional construction of news spokesmen,strengthening the flexibility of news spokesmen,and improving the release system in the face of public health emergencies.
