Research On The Present Situation And Countermeasures Of The Rural Women’s Community Participation Based On The Perspective Of Social Policy For Development

The "rural revitalization strategy" was first proposed by the "19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China" in October 2017,and on October 16,2022,the report of the "20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China" advanced significant theses like "focusing on promoting urban-rural integration and coordinated regional development" and "new urbanization strategy," which proposed new guidelines for the party and the government to govern rural areas.Adhering to the fundamental national policy of equality between men and women and preserving the legitimate rights and interests of women and children was recommended in the Communist Party of China’s 20 th National Congress report,which demonstrates the significance that the Party and the country place on these issues.In general,this study reveals that rural women’s participation in community governance is at three stages of development:(1)flexible participation mechanisms;(2)diverse participation content;and(3)diverse participation channels.The problems with rural women’s participation in community governance include:(1)the participation method is relatively simple;(2)unbalanced participation content;(3)unsatisfactory participation feedback channels;(4)low participation initiative;(5)lack of faith in the subject matter booster;and(6)shallow participation.The following factors contribute to the predicament:(1)low community social capital investment;(2)excessive community human capital investment;and(3)poor government leadership.Based on this,this study proposes the following defenses and recommendations: fostering community...
