Resilienceof Rural Communities In Qingfeng Town,Jianhu County

At the end of 2019,the outbreak of the novel corona virus had a significant impact on public health and life safety both internationally and domestically.Communities are the main fronts of epidemic prevention and control.Improving community resilience is of great significance for reducing the spread of the epidemic,responding to various disasters and ensuring people’s lives.Therefore,based on theories related to resilience.this paper studies the situation of community epidemic prevention,and takes rural communities in Qingfeng Town,Jianhu County as the research object to evaluate the resilience of the communities in epidemic prevention and reduction,and proposes an optimization path to improve the community’s capacity for disaster prevention and reduction.First,based on the resilient community theory,an analytical framework for the resilience of rural communities in the context of the epidemic was constructed from three dimensions of physical resilience,organizational resilience and social resilience,and combined with relevant domestic and foreign literature collection and collation of factors affecting community resilience in the context of epidemic prevention.Secondly,the questionnaire of "the resilience of rural communities in Qingfeng Town,Jianhu County" was compiled,and the relevant interview outline was compiled to investigate the rural communities in Qingfeng Town,Jianhu County.Based on the results of questionnaire and interview,this paper analyzes the current situation and deficiency of resilience of rural communities in Qingfeng Town,Jianhu County,and analyzes the reasons for the deficiency of resilience.Finally,it summarizes the measures to improve community disaster resilience and relevant domestic and foreign experiences and practices,and puts forward suggestions from three aspects of physical resilience,organizational resilience and social resilience,that is,overall community planning in terms of physical resilience,improving infrastructure,increasing investment in medical and health resources,and improving public health services.In terms of organizational resilience,multi-subject collaboration can enhance community initiative,innovative thinking,and community intelligence level.In terms of social resilience,emphasis should be placed on community culture creation and the cultivation of public spirit among residents.
