Analysis Of Sino-Japanese Agricultural Trade And Related Agricultural Policie

Both China and Japan attach great importance to food security.Both countries are populous countries and have a huge demand for agricultural products.China and Japan have frequent agricultural trade and agricultural cooperation is closely linked.China and Japan have similar and different agricultural policies,which can be used for reference.The research on Sino-Japanese Agricultural Trade and Sino-Japanese Agricultural policy is conducive to adjusting agricultural trade and improving agricultural policy.Analyze the differences and deficiencies in the process of agricultural development between the two countries,learn from each other’s experience and advantages,and provide suggestions for further promoting the sustainable development of agriculture in the two countries.By calculating the data and reading the literature,this paper finds that China’s demand for imported agricultural products is increasing year by year,and there is still some room for growth in the future.Japan’s total imports of agricultural products have declined in recent years,but they are generally stable.The agricultural trade between China and Japan mainly takes China as the exporting country and Japan as the importing country,which is also in line with the actual agricultural production situation of the two countries.China’s agricultural products exported to Japan are mainly concentrated in six categories,and Japan’s agricultural products exported to China are mainly concentrated in four categories.Through the analysis of China Japan agricultural trade by explicit comparative advantage index and constant market share model,both countries have their own advantageous agricultural products;China’s agricultural products exported to Japan are greatly affected by growth effect and overall competitiveness,and Japan’s agricultural products exported to China are greatly affected by growth effect and specific competitiveness.In terms of agricultural policy,Japan’s overseas agricultural expansion was early and large-scale,and its agricultural policy started earlier and was relatively perfect.Agricultural reserves also use more private reserves,while China prefers government reserves.Japan’s agricultural subsidies are more targeted,and there are more subsidies for large grain growers.In the future,rural education should pay more attention to cultivating talents in agriculture and provide talent support for the construction of new countryside.Through comprehensive analysis,this paper puts forward some development suggestions.1.Ensure food safety and improve the reputation of agricultural trade;2.Strengthen agricultural science and technology and improve agricultural competitiveness;3.Improve agricultural policies and reduce the income gap between urban and rural areas;4.Make rational use of resources and promote the sustainable development of agriculture.The signing of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership(RCEP)has opened a new chapter for the future agricultural exchanges and cooperation between China and Japan.It is also expected that the negotiations on the China Japan ROK free trade area will be completed as soon as possible,providing more opportunities for the agricultural development of the two countries.
