In the glorious and magnificent history of the Communist Party of China for more than a hundred years,the Jiangxi Soviet Period occupies an important position as the earliest ruling practice of the Communist Party of China,which has accumulated rich experience for the Party’s subsequent rule in the whole country.Therefore,studying deeply the history of Jiangxi Soviet Area is of great and far-reaching significance to fully understand the Party’s policies and principles in Jiangxi Soviet Area and fully appreciate the spirit of Soviet Area.Communism in China: A Report from Hankou in 1932 by Oliver Edmund Clubb(hereinafter referred to as "Communism in China")is regarded as a pioneering effort made by American officials in China.It has important historical research value.Communism in China observes the development and expansion of the Soviet revolution from a new perspective of an American official in China,so as to continuously expand the research scope,broaden the research perspective,deepen the research depth and enrich the historical materials for research on the history of the Jiangxi Soviet area.The development of Sino-foreign relations has also entered a new stage under the unprecedented changes in a hundred years.Since entering the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,our Party has made great achievements in diplomatic work.Building a community of shared future for mankind has increasingly become the trend leading human progress,which is endorsed by more and more countries,but there are still some countries,which still do not understand the real China,smear and slander China.For this reason,from the direction of historical research,this paper analyzes foreigners’ attitudes towards the Communist Party of China and the Soviet revolution under her leadership from a microscopic perspective,hoping to inspire the improvement of the party’s external propaganda work and the strengthening of the national "self-shaping" image construction.This paper mainly uses scientific research methods such as documentary analysis method,case study method and comparative study method to comprehensively analyze the Chinese Soviet regime in the eyes of a foreigner.The whole paper is divided into five parts as follows:Chapter 1,Introduction.This chapter mainly systematically expounds the basis and significance,research ideas and methods,innovations and shortcomings of this thesis,as well as the relevant research status at home and abroad.Chapter 2,Introduction to Communism in China.This chapter mainly introduces the biography of O.Edmund Clubb and the Publishing background and investigation background of this investigation report.Chapter 3,the Image of Soviet revolutionary from the perspective of Communism in China.This chapter mainly analyzes the image of Soviet revolutionary leader the Communist Party of China(CPC)from three aspects: sticking to faith,connecting with the masses and political wisdom,and analyzes the image of the Chinese Red Army as a pillar of the Soviet Union from three aspects: military strategy,strict discipline and political firmness,so as to find out the reasons why the Soviet revolution can develop and grow.Chapter 4,the analysis of Soviet regime behavior policy from the perspective of Communism in China.This chapter mainly analyzes the content of Communism in China,discusses the land policy,social policy and organizational policy implemented by the Communist Party of China in Soviet areas,and summarizes the effects of these policies under the historical conditions at that time.Chapter 5,comments on the understanding of Chinese Soviet Revolution in Communism in China.This chapter mainly analyzes the limitations of this investigation report from three aspects: data source,evaluation perspective and evaluation content,and expounds the significance and enlightenment of this investigation report from two aspects: historical significance and realistic enlightenment.
