Research On The People-to-People Connectivity Of China And Latin America From The Perspective Of "Belt And Road Initiative"

In 2013,the construction of the "Belt and Road" initiative was proposed by President Xi.In March 2015,the Chinese government formulated and issued the Vision and Actions for Jointly Building the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21 st Century Maritime Silk Road.Adhering to the central concept of "extensive consultation","joint contribution" and "shared benefits",China has received wide attention and support,especially from the countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.Latin America is a natural extension of events and an indispensable member of the 21 st Century Maritime Silk Road.Driven by the Belt and Road initiative,China-Latin America relations have been steadily improved,their people-to-people exchanges have been significantly enhanced in the process of diversified exchanges and cooperation,and mutual learning among civilizations has been deepened.Starting from the reform and opening up,this paper sorts out the process of China-Latin America cooperation,sorts out the Belt and Road initiative and related articles on people-to-people connectivity,and systematically studies China-Latin America people-to-people connectivity from international political science,sociology,Marxist theory and other disciplines.It puts forward the development prospects of China-Latin America people’s connectivity and summarizes the characteristics and opportunities and challenges it faces.From the perspective of international relations and sociology,we shows that the people-to-people bond between China and Latin America is both an opportunity and a challenge for China and Latin America.Only the two sides adhere to the principle of "extensive consultation,joint contribution and shared benefits",adhere to cooperation and exchanges,and achieve win-win results under the "Belt and Road" initiative.At the present stage,the people-to-people exchanges between China and Latin America have been greatly improved in both in depth and breadth.However,there are also some problems in the people-to-people ties between China and Latin America,such as the overall level of China-Latin America cooperation still needs to be improved.On this basis,it is urgent to effectively play the role of people-to-people connectivity and jointly build a community of China and Latin America with a shared future.Therefore,the people-to-people bond between China and Latin America should not be absent or absent.
