| In recent years,China has experienced rapid development in urban and rural construction,resulting in an increasing gap between the rich and the poor.To address this issue,the report of the 19 th Party Congress has put forward the general requirements of “prosperous industry,ecological livability,civilized countryside,effective governance,and rich living”,with the construction of beautiful countryside being the key to realizing rural revitalization.As one of the top 100 counties in China,Boxing County has been awarded as an advanced county in Shandong Province for the construction of beautiful countryside.However,there are still problems,such as a single industrial model,labor loss,idle farmland,and unbalanced resource allocation.Therefore,this article explores and researches the evaluation system of beautiful countryside construction in Boxing County,Binzhou,to solve existing problems and create a new situation of beautiful countryside development.The present study aimed to identify and define evaluation indicators for a beautiful countryside,emphasizing the integration of urban-rural development,sustainable development,and rural revitalization,incorporating the unique rural characteristics of Boxing County,construct an evaluation system for the construction of a beautiful countryside in Boxing County,Binzhou,based on a thorough review of existing research.The research samples were analyzed using the SPSS statistical analysis tool,and five primary indicators and 26 secondary indicators of a beautiful countryside were selected.The AHP-entropy weighting method and the TOPSIS method were used to confirm the weights for evaluation,and ultimately an evaluation model for the construction of a beautiful countryside in Boxing County was established.The study also clarified the factors influencing the selection of key indicators for the evaluation of beautiful countryside construction in Boxing County.To illustrate the application of the evaluation model,the study took five villages in Boxing County as examples and conducted a questionnaire survey with villagers and people related to beautiful countryside.The analysis of the survey data revealed several outstanding issues,including a lack of industrial development,insufficient investment in rural construction,environmental problems in rural areas,and an inadequate role of farmers.To address these issues,targeted suggestions and opinions were put forward,including improving infrastructure,increasing efforts in ecological construction,cultivating new types of farmers,establishing a talent development plan,developing special industries,and promoting green synergistic development.These suggestions aim to promote the construction of rural ecological civilization and sustainable development.In conclusion,this study contributes to the development of a comprehensive and scientific evaluation system for the construction of a beautiful countryside in China.The findings provide valuable insights and guidance for policymakers and stakeholders who are interested in promoting sustainable rural development.The findings of the research provide a valuable reference for practical work in beautiful countryside construction in Boxing County,Binzhou City,and beyond.The evaluation system proposed in the article can also aid governments and relevant departments across the country in visually assessing the implementation of local beautiful countryside construction,and further exploring the development potential of the characteristics of Boxing County,Binzhou City.This study provides a realistic model for beautiful countryside construction in Shandong Province and across the country in the process of rural revitalization. |
