A Study On The Intervention Of European Union In Balkan Ethnic Issues After The Cold War

After the Cold War,the ethnic problems in the Balkan region became more and more serious,and some ethnic issues even evolved into ethnic conflicts,which seriously affected the stability of the Balkan region and even the whole Europe.This paper attempts to analyze the background,causes,methods and influence of EU intervention on Balkan ethnic issues through an empirical analysis.This paper expounds the background of ethnic minorities in the Balkan region,sorts out the origin of ethnic minorities in the Balkan region,explains the complexity of ethnic minorities in the Balkan region by ethnic,historical,political,religious,cultural and many other factors,and analyzes the expression forms of ethnic issues in the Balkan region.After demonstrating the historical and cultural background,this paper analyzes the world situation,the European Union and the Balkan region,and explains the reasons why the European Union intervenes in the ethnic issues in the Balkan region.Next,through the analysis of the specific cases of EU intervention in the Balkan ethnic issues,from the political,diplomatic,military and other aspects of detailed analysis of the EU intervention in the Balkan ethnic issues in the specific ways and in different periods of the European Union to take intervention measures;Finally,this paper reviews the background of ethnic minorities in the Balkan region,the reasons and ways of EU intervention,analyzes the characteristics,influence and effects of EU intervention in ethnic issues in the Balkan region,and makes a profound summary of EU intervention in ethnic issues in the Balkan region.Through the analysis of the above issues,the author believes that although there are still many issues and constraints in the process of EU intervention,these attempts to intervene in the Balkan ethnic issues still play a certain practical effect.With the efforts of the EU,although the situation in the Balkan region occasionally tends to be tense,the ethnic problems in the Balkan region gradually ease,which provides some reference for other countries and regions to solve the ethnic issues.
