We are now at an important time when the two "Overall Situations" are intertwined and the two "Centenary Goals" are being handed over.It is also a time when China is stepping forward with pride toward modernization.Behind such rapid changes and progress,it is not difficult to see: in the public sector,many cadres in the work slack,habitual delay,negative attitude,panic all day,these are the performance of the problem of job engagement.Exploring the factors that affect the job engagement of public officials,as well as the action path and magnitude behind these factors,can help us to explain the law behind the appearance.These laws can give us inspiration for the practice of public sector management.The application of laws can improve the work engagement of public officials to a certain extent,and then inject strength into the work of public sector,the realization of public value and the development goals of the country.In order to explore the law behind the phenomenon of poor implementation of the above goals and low work involvement among public officials,and find a solution to the problem.This study firstly sorted out the previous empirical studies on job engagement,and determined that the job demand-resource model was the research theory,the clarity of job objectives that the public sector did not pay attention to was the independent variable,and the self-efficacy that could reflect the evaluation of individual self-ability was the intermediary variable.And organizational support,which can better reflect the interaction between organizations and individuals,is the moderating variable.The quantitative model is used to explore the influence path and effect of these variables on job engagement.This study takes the public officials in Xi Gu of Lan Zhou as the research object.With the help of domestic and foreign mature scales,questionnaire survey and statistical analysis techniques are adopted to measure and analyze the attitudes and views of the sampled public officials.After matching the three follow-up questionnaires and eliminating the invalid ones,357 valid questionnaires were obtained.After statistical analysis,it is found that the clarity of work objectives can significantly positively influence the work involvement in the public sector.Job goal clarity also significantly affects job engagement through the mediating effect of self-efficacy.In addition,the higher the degree of organizational support,the stronger the influence of job goal clarity on job engagement through the intermediary of self-efficacy.The above research conclusions reveal that the clarity of work objectives deserves attention in the relevant research of public sector management.Just like enterprises,the public sector also needs to focus on the positive impact of clarity of work objectives on daily work and performance.The introduction of the positive concept of job involvement into the job demand-resource model will also make the whole model more positive and effective for the management behavior.From the outside to the inside,from the material to the emotional,for the civil servants engaged in knowledge labor,the psychological and spiritual level of support often can stimulate the staff to continuously generate confidence and high self-efficacy,and better into the work.
