Township civil servants serve the public directly,which are the link between the Party and the government and the people,shoulder the heavy responsibility of new rural construction,and their moral level and working ability are related to the credibility of the government.The construction of a service-oriented society and the revitalization of the countryside put forward higher requirements for the construction and working ability of township civil servants.The work of township civil servants is faced with great challenges,and the work pressure is also increasing day by day.Many factors,including the heavy work,low salary,difficult promotion and high social expectation,bring occupational pressure to township civil servants,which makes them lose their enthusiasm for work and affects their work efficiency.Long-term stress is not effectively alleviated and gradually develops into job burnout.Job burnout of township civil servants not only affects the physical and mental health of township civil servants but also is not conducive to the improvement of township government efficiency.Therefore,it is of the most important significance to pay attention to the study of the burnout of township civil servants,finding out the causes of burnout,and putting forward some measures to solve the problem.This thesis takes the civil servants in W Town of Linqing City as the research objective.Through reading the relevant literature about civil servant burnout at home and abroad,the development situation of civil servant burnout in township is understood.Based on the actual situation of W Town in Linqing City,this thesis first adopts the questionnaire survey method for analysis,and then adopts the investigation form of case interview.According to the dimensions of age,education,job title,etc.,several representative civil servants in W Town in Linqing City are selected for interview.Finally,the questionnaire data and interview results of civil servants in W Town in Linqing City are analyzed.It concludes that civil servants in W Town of Linqing City have medium degree of job burnout.This thesis analyzes the causes of job burnout in W Town of Linqing City from three aspects,i.e.,individual,organization and society.Finally,this thesis puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to alleviate civil servants’ job burnout in W Town of Linqing City from the individual level,organizational level and social level.In particular,It contains the scientific career planning,strengthening their own learning,and enhancing professional psychological quality in the individual level.In the organizational level,we need to improve the township working environment,to reduce the work pressure of township civil servants,and to improve incentive measures.In the social level,the society should have reasonable expectations of township civil servants,and the positive publicity of township civil servants should be strengthened.
