Research On The Countermeasures Of Accelerating Agricultural Modernization In The New Era

Agriculture is the basic industry in the national economic system,which has a fundamental impact on the development of our society.Only by realizing the modernization of agriculture can we provide a steady stream of power for the modernization of our country.At present,the first centenary goal of completing the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects has been achieved.China has embarked on a new journey to build a modern socialist country in all respects and forged ahead towards the second centenary goal.In the No.1 Document of the CPC Central Committee in 2023,General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed that without the development of agricultural modernization,the development of socialist modernization is not comprehensive and incomplete.The rejuvenation of the nation cannot be separated from the development of agriculture and rural areas.Promoting the development of agricultural modernization is an essential link in the process of realizing China’s modernization construction,and it is an opportunity to improve the high-quality development of agricultural industry.This paper uses the literature research method,theory and reality,logic and history summarizes the connotation of agricultural modernization,guiding ideology and objectives,discusses the significance of agricultural modernization,analyzes the development of modern agriculture in China and puts forward the corresponding improvement measures.This article does not include the introduction,but mainly consists of three parts.The first part mainly discusses the connotation,guiding ideology and significance of speeding up agricultural modernization in the new era.The agricultural modernization in the new era mainly contains three meanings: one is to realize the modernization of the agricultural economic system;the second is to modernize the rural governance system led by the grassroots Party organization;the third is to build a beautiful countryside with Chinese characteristics and improve the overall cultural quality of farmers.In short,the construction of Chinese-style agricultural modernization should be based on China’s national conditions and agricultural conditions,adhere to the guidance of Marxist agricultural modernization theory and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,and accelerate the construction of a strong agricultural country and a modern socialist country.The second part mainly expounds the achievements and problems faced by China’s agricultural modernization in the new era.The achievements of China’s agricultural modernization are mainly manifested in the continuous improvement of agricultural infrastructure,the increasing support of agricultural science and technology,the transformation of agricultural development direction to ecological agriculture,the steady improvement of food supply guarantee capacity;the modernization of rural governance system;and the continuous enrichment of rural culture.At the same time,China is also faced with a series of problems in the process of promoting agricultural modernization,such as: the modern agricultural industrial system is not perfect,the rural governance system is not complete,the rural culture can not meet the needs of farmers.The third part is to discuss the problems in the development process of modern agriculture.To accelerate agricultural modernization,we should first establish a modern agricultural production system,then improve the rural governance system,and finally establish a beautiful countryside to enrich the cultural life of farmers and improve the overall cultural quality level of farmers.
