| Under the extraordinary environment, urban communities,as a special field of social governance most closely related to the grassroots and people’s livelihood, present a strong cohesive force in the emergency handling of public emergencies. As digital natives, youth groups are good at receiving and processing information from various channels in the new media era,and they can often spontaneously form pro-social behaviors to contribute to the harmonious and stable development of grassroots society.Exploring the influence of urban community information dissemination on the pro-social behavior of youth groups is conducive to proposing new ideas of urban community information dissemination from the perspective of youth development, precisely strengthening the social identity of the middle force, and then effectively improving the operation mechanism of urban community communication and accelerating the improvement of grassroots social governance capacity. This paper focuses on the urban youth group, based on the structural-functionalist paradigm, from the perspective of communication, combining the basic theories of sociology and psychology, examines the pro-social behavior of this group and the current situation of exposure to community information dissemination, and explores the influence of urban community information dissemination on youth pro-social behavior under the mediating role of social identity and the moderating role of parental involvement through participant observation,in-depth interviews and questionnaires. The study found that information dissemination in urban communities has a significant impact on youth’s pro-social behavior. The study found that urban community information dissemination can significantly influence youth pro-social behavior in both regular and non-regular environments, and is a sustainable process from nurturing to summoning;social identity plays a partially mediating role in the influence of urban community information dissemination on youth pro-social behavior;paternal involvement has a moderating role between urban community information dissemination and youth pro-social behavior, and low paternal involvement instead The moderating effect of paternal involvement on youth pro-social behaviors and youth pro-social behaviors was found to be low. However, there is still much room for improvement in urban community information dissemination, including unclear positioning of its functions, weak value leadership of youth pro-social behavior, strong boundaries of its own media attributes, shallow knowledge of youth media literacy and habits, and unpredictable communication effects in the new media environment.Combining with the actual research, this paper proposes an optimal path for urban community information communication to influence youth’s pro-social behavior, which should clarify the responsibility and role of urban community information communication from the social structure, explore the composition and extension of youth’s pro-social behavior from the value system, explore the characteristics and rules of the audience group from the youth group itself, and realize the self-revolution of urban community information communication in crisis awareness. |
