Food safety concerns people’s livelihood.It has been the focus of the government and the focus of the people for many years.Food safety supervision,as an important means of ensuring food safety with government as the main body,has always been one of the concerns of the academic community.We generally divide the whole food chain into edible agricultural products planting and breeding,food production and processing,food management and other links.Food production is an important link of the whole food chain,and is the source of food safety except edible agricultural products farming.Chinese laws and regulations on food safety clearly stipulate the governance principles of "prevention first,risk management,whole-process control and social co-governance" for food safety.Implementing food production safety supervision based on risk prevention and control to reduce safety risks to the greatest extent is the core essence and essential requirement for ensuring food production safety.Taking S Province as an example,this paper analyzes the current situation and overall safety situation of food production safety in S Province from the perspective of risk prevention and control in combination with the actual supervision work,and describes the main practices of food production safety supervision in S Province.Starting from the basis of risk management,According to the logic of risk identification,risk assessment and risk control,the current predicament of food production safety supervision is analyzed,that is,the risk management basis is lagging behind,the risk identification ability is insufficient,the risk assessment means is insufficient and the risk control effect is weak.At the same time,the corresponding optimization measures and suggestions are put forward from the four aspects of improving the relevant basis of risk management,enhancing the ability of risk identification,improving the level of risk assessment and improving the level of risk control,so as to provide certain reference for further preventing and defusing food production safety risks,strengthening food production safety supervision and ensuring food production safety.
