A Practical Study On The Implementation Of Public Interest Venture Capital Projects By Social Work Service Agencies

At present,our economic and social development is rapid,people’s material life is increasingly rich,grassroots demand for public services is also growing,it is necessary for us to build and improve the social public service function system,meet the people’s growing social public services needs.Under this background,Chinese social work organizations have grown rapidly,their scale has expanded significantly,and the manifestation of social services has become increasingly diversified.As a new form of public service supply,venture capital for public interest first took root in developed cities such as Shanghai,Hangzhou and Guangzhou,and developed rapidly throughout the country.In this case,X County found out a path for the implementation of social venture capital projects by absorbing successful practices from all over the country and based on the actual development of local social work organizations,and made innovations on this basis.This paper takes the whole process of social work service agencies implementing public interest venture capital projects from 2022 to 2023 as the research object.Based on the domestic and foreign researches on "public venture capital" and "government service purchase",and based on the supply theory of public goods,contract theory and empowerment theory,this paper systematically studies the operation status of social work agencies’ participation in public venture capital projects by using literature research method,participatory observation method and unstructured interview.The research found that the problems of social work agencies’ participation in public interest venture capital mainly lie in human resources,capital management,marketing and public relations.In order to improve the process of social work institutions implementing public interest venture capital projects,the following suggestions are put forward.The government should promote the continuation of the project and formulate relevant policies.At the social level,we need to actively respond to social welfare activities,accept social organizations,and reduce the resistance to the development of social organizations.Social work service institutions also need to strengthen the construction of professional personnel,so that the internal capacity of social organizations should be strengthened at the same time...
