| In the context of globalization,rapid population aging has become a serious social problem,and actively coping with it through the tourism form of education tourisms is an important key to crack the problem of population aging,which has important practical significance for the elderly to achieve successful aging.The current research on senior study tours mostly focuses on applied research,tourism barriers and constraints,with more qualitative research methods and less quantitative research.In order to explore whether senior education tourisms can play a positive role in successful aging in the Chinese context,and how senior education tourisms can enable the elderly to achieve successful aging,the study is based on the theory of leisure involvement,and takes the elderly who participate in education tourisms as the research object,introduces the smooth experience in the process of education tourisms,and explores the influence of senior education tourisms on successful aging.The article classifies senior education tourisms into three dimensions of attractiveness,centrality and self-expression,and classifies successful aging into four dimensions of physical health,psychological health,spiritual health,and social health,introduces refreshing experiences,adopts quantitative research methods,constructs a research model of senior education tourisms and successful aging,proposes hypotheses,and explores the relationship between senior education tourisms and successful aging by testing hypotheses analysis,the following conclusions were drawn:Firstly,In the process of older adults’ participation in education tourisms,the attractiveness,centrality,and self-expression would dimensions involved in education tourisms positively affect older adults’ successful aging dimensions of physical health,mental health,spiritual health,and social health.That is,education tourisms for older adults positively affect older adults’ successful aging;Secondly,the attractiveness,centrality and self-expression of education tourism involvement of older adults in the process of participating in education tourisms will have a significant positive impact on the smooth experience;Thirldly,the enjoyment experience gained by the elderly during the education tourism has a significant positive impact on the physical health,mental health,spiritual health and social health dimensions of successful aging,the flow experience positively influences the successful aging of the elderly.Enjoyment experience plays a mediating role in the influence of education tourism involvement and successful aging.According to the research findings,development suggestions are made for the development of education tourisms for the elderly from the perspectives of the elderly themselves,senior education tourism agencies,travel agency agencies and the government:to enhance the interest and enthusiasm of the elderly to actively participate in education tourisms;education tourism agencies should increase the supply upgrade reform to meet the demand of the elderly for high-quality education tourisms;travel agencies should improve their services,enhance the quality of education tourisms and provide age-appropriate services;the government should make timely policies and The government should make timely policies and top-level design to lead the high-quality development of education tourisms for the elderly,promote active aging,and help the elderly achieve successful aging. |
