Residential Aged Meal-Assisted Service Optimization Research

The 13 th Five Year Plan(2016-2020)is a significant strategic period for China to solve the problem associated with ageing populations,the 14 th Five Year Plan(2021-2025)is an important open window to deal with this problem,and the problems of old-age boom and falling population of children will have an extremely profound impact on China’s future development.Therefore,to solve the problem associated with ageing populations has become an urgent and important issue.The current mainstream way of providing for the aged in China is to provide for the aged at home in communities relying on the government,streets and institutions.With the deepening of old-age boom problem,the contradiction of Difficult to Eat for the elderly has become increasingly prominent.Under the dual impetus of demand and resources,the welfare service of catering for the elderly has emerged according to the situation.Each region has formulated catering welfare service policies and put them into practice according to its own actual situation.By the end of 2021,the elderly population in Chengdu ranked fourth in China’s elderly population cities,and the elderly care service was at the forefront of the country.Although Chengdu has relatively mature and rich experience in elderly care catering,there are still many problems in the home elderly care catering service.Based on this,this article aims to deeply explore the current meal assistance service model for home-based elderly care in Chengdu,in order to optimize the meal assistance service for home-based elderly care and improve the quality of life and happiness of the elderly.Firstly,this article provides an overview of the home based elderly care meal assistance service,and conducts theoretical research using literature review,interviews,and questionnaire surveys to analyze the development status and existing problems of home based elderly care meal assistance services at home and abroad.Secondly,based on the trend of population aging and the demand for home based elderly care meal assistance services,this article summarizes and analyzes the actual problems and causes of home based elderly care meal assistance services.Starting from various aspects such as meal assistance service content,supply methods,supply entities,basic situation of service teams,and meal assistance fees,this article aims to address the current home based elderly care meal assistance service,Scientifically and reasonably proposed strategies and suggestions for optimizing the home based elderly care meal assistance service: firstly,further flexibly adjust the form of meal assistance services,and optimize the service details of door-to-door delivery,mobile meal assistance service vehicles,and centralized meal supply;Secondly,we must adhere to a government led social support system and fully mobilize the service enthusiasm of diverse social entities to safeguard the basic rights and interests of the elderly from multiple aspects;Thirdly,further integrate social support resources,improve the home based elderly care meal assistance service,improve the layout of elderly care service facilities,and integrate social resource strength;Fourthly,by applying customer satisfaction theory to analyze the elderly nutritional catering system,we aim to optimize meal assistance services and improve elderly meal satisfaction;Fifth,guided by the actual needs of the elderly,strengthen publicity and promotion to create a good atmosphere of home based elderly care meal assistance;Six is to break free from the misconceptions of traditional consumption concepts and lack of consumption awareness among the elderly,and actively explore new models of elderly care meal assistance that are suitable for market demand.Finally,based on the previous text,summarize and prospect the research on the home based elderly care meal assistance service.
