| The concept of national role is the self determination of decision-makers regarding general decisions,rules,and behaviors that are suitable for their own state,as well as the responsibilities that countries within the international or regional system should fulfill on a sustained basis(if they can be effective).The role positioning of the country is influenced by both domestic and foreign environments,as well as multiple factors such as social,cultural,and geographical location.The cognitive positioning of the country’s role concept determines its role performance and determines the formulation and implementation of its foreign relations policies.This article takes Japan’s role transition from follower to leader during the transition from TPP to CPTPP as the research object,and uses process tracking method to explore the factors that affect Japan’s self role positioning in TPP and CPTPP,as well as the changes in these influencing factors during Japan’s transition from follower to leader during the transition from TPP to CPTPP;On the basis of analyzing the transformation of Japan’s role positioning,analyze the changes in Japan’s international cooperation policies within the TPP and CPTPP frameworks.Based on the role theory,this paper will focus on analyzing the impact of system structure and national interests on Japan’s role positioning transformation.This article will provide a comprehensive discussion on the development process from TPP to CPTPP,based on Japan’s role positioning and changes in foreign policy.In addition,research on TPP and CPTPP mostly focuses on analyzing and evaluating the political and economic benefits of these multilateral free trade platforms for member countries,with a focus on observing hard power.Based on the role theory with strong constructivism,this paper focuses on the dynamic psychological analysis of state actors. |
