At the end of the 1980s, Germany was reunited. It has become an independent sovereignty country again since the end of the Second World War. However, The unification of politics did not mean that the regional economic integration could be realized in a short period of time. Before the political unification happened in 1989, there was a significant gap in the economic management system and economic operation situation between the Democratic Republic,of Germany and the Federal Republic of Germany. So alter the political reunification, the new German government was faced with a lot of problems and difficulties, such as economic system reunification, high unemployment rate, industrial structure reform and social psychological disequilibrium. In order to solve these problems, the German government adopted a series of policies and measures. As a result, significant progress has been achieved in its economy.The Chinese government carried out its policy of economic system reform and opening-up to the outside world 26 years ago. Now the problem of regional economic imbalance becomes very obvious. There is a significant gap in the economic management system and economic operation situation among the Chinese eastern, central and western areas. It has greatly harmed the national economic sustainable development. How to realize the regional economic integration and find the new growth point is a fateful problem for the future development of China.This thesis tries to analyze successful experience of the German regional economic integration, to compare it with the current Chinese regional economic development situation and to find out useful aspiration for the Chinese regional economic integration .
