Nowadays,we are in the era of network informatization,and the network has covered all aspects of public life.In the network environment,people process the language brought into the network from real life,and the language vocabulary with high frequency of use is widely spread among netizens with the imprint of the network era,becoming a network buzzword.The highly generalized or one-sided network buzzwords are no longer just symbolic tools in the traditional sense,but contain people’s summary of the phenomena reflected behind the language,becoming "thoughtful" language symbols.These symbols constantly affect the thoughts and emotions of signal recipients and play a reinforcing role.In the face of massive amounts of information and the lack of their own judgment standards,signal recipients are prone to improperly understand and interpret the authenticity of the content reflected behind a certain network buzzword,resulting in deviations from facts or correct value orientations.Contemporary college students are the main targets for the use and dissemination of online buzzwords.Internet buzzwords meet the psychological demands of college students to display their personality and pursue their right to speak.However,Internet buzzwords are mixed,and college students are at a critical stage of stable formation of cognition,emotions,and values.In addition,their openness in thinking can easily be affected by the negative information carried by negative Internet buzzwords,resulting in deviations in thinking and behavior,which is not conducive to the formation of correct values.Colleges and universities are the main positions for cultivating college students.In the face of the impact of negative network buzzwords on college students,it is necessary to fully exert the role of ideological and political education,effectively guide college students to conduct self-education,improve their understanding of the impact of negative network buzzwords,and guide college students’ thoughts,behaviors,and values in the correct direction consistent with social development.Focusing on the research objectives,the first chapter elaborates the current research status and research methods of the impact of negative network buzzwords on college students at home and abroad.The second chapter defines the impact of negative internet buzzwords on college students and related concepts of countermeasures,and analyzes the theoretical basis of thesis writing.Chapter III conducts a survey and analysis of the impact of negative internet catchwords on college students,including causing college students to publish vulgar and radical statements,causing college students to misalign their aesthetic value orientation,polluting the online interpersonal communication environment of college students,weakening effective communication between college students and educators,and studies the reasons for the impact,including the reflection and dissemination of diverse social trends in negative internet catchwords The impact of negative network buzzwords on mainstream ideological discourse,the lack of effectiveness and pertinence of online ideological and political education in universities,and the weak ability of college students to analyze and identify negative network buzzwords.The fourth chapter proposes specific countermeasures for the impact of negative network buzzwords on college students,including strengthening the guidance of mainstream ideological discourse on the network,improving the management system of the network platform,improving the effectiveness and pertinence of online ideological and political education in colleges and universities,and effectively carrying out self-education for college students.
