Research On The Cultivation Of Labor Spirit Among "Post-00" College Students

At the National Education Conference in 2018,General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized the need to promote the spirit of labor among students and repeatedly discussed the importance of promoting the spirit of labor.In March 2020,the “Opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening Labor Education in Universities and Schools in the New Era” issued by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council included cultivating the spirit of labor among students as one of the overall goals of labor education.Subsequently,the Ministry of Education issued the "Guideline for Labor Education in Universities,Schools and Colleges(for Trial Implementation)",which clarified that strengthening the concept of labor and promoting the spirit of labor is the guiding document for labor education.The Party and State’s emphasis on labor education and the introduction of relevant policies have promoted the status of labor education and pointed out the direction for the cultivation of labor spirit in the new era.Therefore,this paper discusses the main connotation and significance of the cultivation of the labor spirit of "post-00s" college students,investigates its current situation to find out the existing problems,analyzes the causes of the problems,and then puts forward the optimization path.Growing up in the background of more diversified ideas,"post-00s" college students have become the main body of college students and have new group characteristics and features of the times.The baton of history will eventually be delivered to them.Only when the "post-00s" college students have ideals,dare to take charge,can bear hardships,and are willing to struggle,the brilliant hope of the nation and the country will be realized.Their labor spirit directly affects their attitudes and behavioral choices in life,study and work,which in turn has an important impact on the modernization of society and the country.It is not only conducive to promoting the all-round development of "post-00s" college students’ moral,intellectual,physical,aesthetic and labor,implementing the fundamental task of moral education in colleges and universities,but also conducive to creating a good labor atmosphere in the whole society and realizing the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Through self-administered questionnaires and interviews,it can be seen that the cultivation of labor spirit among "post-00" college students has achieved certain results,such as higher recognition of labor spirit and its cultivation,increasing enthusiasm to participate in labor,and increased cultivation efforts of colleges and universities.At the same time,there are also some problems caused by the impact of social unpleasant phenomena and wrong thinking,the consequences of insufficient effectiveness of labor education in colleges and universities,the restriction of family’s wrong viewpoint of emphasizing intelligence over labor,and the misleading of students’ individual labor cognitive bias.For example,the problems are there is a disconnection between knowledge and action in the labor spirit of some "post-00" college students,the cultivation system of colleges and universities is not perfect,and the coordination mechanism of cultivation is not yet sound.Based on the analysis of the above problems and causes,it is necessary to optimize the cultivation path of labor spirit of "post-00" college students.The state should strengthen the top-level design and build a policy mechanism to respect labor;the society should enhance the support and create an excellent environment to promote labor spirit;universities should highlight the leading position and improve the cultivation system of labor spirit;families should build a solid foundation and create practical opportunities to realize labor spirit;students should play the main role and enhance the endogenous motivation to practice labor spirit.
