Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Postpartum Women’s Fertility Security In Shenyang City

Located in northeast China,Shenyang is the capital city of Liaoning Province and one of the most important economic and cultural centers in the region.In recent years,with the development of society and economy,Shenyang City is facing more and more severe situations in the protection of postpartum women.The high population density of cities and the rising cost of living have increased the occupational and economic pressure on postpartum women,while the inconsistent implementation of policies has led to an unfair situation.Health and education support also needs to be improved.Therefore,there is an urgent need to improve fertility policies provide more vocational and social support,and improve health and education systems to ensure that postpartum women and their families can enjoy comprehensive protection and support,and promote the sustainable development and prosperity of urban societies.This paper takes the postpartum women in Shenyang as the main body of the investigation.From the perspective of postpartum,through literature research and questionnaire survey,it is found that the postpartum women in Shenyang face high economic pressure of raising costs after childbirth.The birth policy ignored women’s rights and interests,and their physical and mental health conditions were not paid attention to;Insufficient protection of women’s labor rights and interests;Problems with balancing work and family.It has a negative impact on both the individual and the society.Through investigation and research,this paper finds that the main reasons for the above problems are relatively low maternity allowance,which can not meet the high cost of raising children;Public service facilities are not perfect;Employers’ gender discrimination,postpartum female employment threshold is high;Postpartum women and work difficult balance problem.This paper argues that the problems existing in the maternity protection of postpartum women can be improved from the following aspects: 1.Expand the scope of economic compensation of maternity insurance,increase the amount of economic compensation,so as to cope with the high cost of childcare and reduce the burden of childcare;2.Strengthen the construction of social service system,improve supporting facilities,and provide a friendly social environment for postpartum women;3.Strengthen the supervision of employment discrimination and strengthen the protection of women’s rights and interests;4.Flexible working is an effective way to balance work and family,and the government should support enterprises that provide flexible working positions.Shenyang City needs to match its fertility intention with its fertility policy,ensure the effective exercise of postpartum women’s rights under the relevant policies to encourage childbirth,and avoid affecting the future survival and development of postpartum women due to imperfect supporting policies and measures.
