| Purpose:The problem of sedentary youth’s physical decline is becoming more and more prominent,and physical exercise has become a recognized method to improve physical fitness.This study takes sedentary youths as subjects,according to relevant theory of sports training,to explore the influence of sports on the phy sique of sedentary youth,creates fitness programs suitable for sedentary people,and tests their fitness effects,so as to provide theory and practice support for sedentary people.Method:16 subjects were intervened for 10 weeks by combining the short-term exercise program with regular long-term exercise program.The total sedentary time,the longest sedentary time and the three physical health indicators of body shape,physical function and physical fitness were tested to verify the effect of the exercise intervention program.Results:(1)After 10 weeks of exercise intervention,the total sedentary time and the longest duration sedentary time of sedentary youth were significantly reduced,and the number of adverse symptoms such as visual fatigue,neck discomfort,waist discomfort and dizziness decreased after sedentary sitting.(2)In terms of body shape,the subjects’ weight,waist circumference,hip circumference,and body fat percentage did not have significant differences before and after the intervention(P>0.05).(3)In terms of physical function,the subjects’ vital capacity and step index showed very significant differences before and after the experimental intervention(P<0.01).(4)In terms of physical fitness,there were very significant differences in grip strength,back muscle endurance,push-ups(kneeling-up for girls),sitting and bending forward,standing on one foot with eyes closed,and 1 RM squat between male and female subjects before and after the experimental intervention(P<0.01),and there were also very significant differences in sit up indexes of male subjects(P<0.01),there was significant difference in the sit up index of female subjects(P<0.05).After the experiment,the vertical jump index of male and female subjects had a positive change,but the change was not obvious,and there was no significant difference before and after the intervention(P>0.05).Conclusion:The combination of short-term exercise and long-term exercise can reduce the total sedentary time and continuous sedentary time of sedentary youth;reduce the number of people with visual fatigue,neck discomfort,waist discomfort and dizziness after sedentary;improve the physical function level of sedentary youth,improve cardiopulmonary endurance and cardiovascular system function;improve sedentary youth’s physical fitness level,enhance grip strength,trunk muscle endurance,lower limb strength,and improve flexibility and balance. |
