In the information age,fundamental changes are taking place in teaching and learning,and new laws are constantly emerging in the field of education.The solution of its basic scientific problems has gone beyond the theoretical method and research category of a single discipline.China’s educational science innovation is also facing more complex challenges.The deep integration of information technology and education has become an inevitable trend in the development of modern education.Countries all over the world also attach great importance to the development and research of educational information science.At present,the basic scientific problems and research methods of education are not clear.It is urgent to clarify the research hotspots and development context of educational information science,so as to further explore the basic and practical scientific problems of educational innovation,and provide scientific support for the design and implementation of educational information science research facing the future society.Based on the forward-looking research projects,representative journal papers and Horizon Reports of educational information science at home and abroad,this study uses econometric methods and cross correlation analysis to make a multi-dimensional analysis of the research hotspots and evolution trend of educational information science,analyzes the main characteristics of the funding pattern and research content of educational information science at home and abroad,and condenses the main challenges and solutions In order to provide support for the research in this field,the future research direction and relevant suggestions are put forward.The main research work and achievements are as followsFirstly,based on the project,this paper systematically analyzes the funding pattern and research topics of educational information science at home and abroad.Through a comprehensive survey of the data of educational information science frontier projects in the United States and China from 2011 to 2020,this paper summarizes the global funding layout,representative projects and research evolution characteristics of educational information science.The analysis shows that the United States continues to fund learning science,stem education,teaching service research based on information technology,attaches importance to basic research of educational innovation,and interdisciplinary cooperative research tends to be normal;China’s funding for educational information science is gradually expanding.Social Sciences pay more attention to the applied research of education itself.Natural sciences focus more on learning mechanism and pay more attention to personalized learning research supported by educational resources,educational environment and emerging technologies.Secondly,with academic papers and representative reports as the core,this paper systematically analyzes the research hotspots and evolution trends of educational information science at home and abroad.Based on the data of SSCI,CSSCI and Horizon Report at home and abroad from 2011 to 2020,this paper analyzes the research content of educational information science by using bibliometric method,including keyword cooccurrence network,keyword clustering and emergent word analysis.It is found that foreign educational information science focuses on students’ learning elements and technology application,with flipped classroom,online learning,mobile learning,educational games and other topics as the research frontier;China focuses on artificial intelligence education,online education and big data education,and the degree of attention continues to rise;artificial intelligence,new generation learning environment,analysis technology and privacy will be the key scene and direction of future education research.Finally,based on the above research results,this paper further refines the main characteristics of the funding pattern and research content of educational information science through correlation analysis,expounds the research trend of educational information science from the three core aspects of educational environment,educational subject and educational service,and puts forward specific development suggestions.In general,the interdisciplinary integration of Educational Information Science in China,especially the combination of pedagogy and brain science,sociology and other disciplines,still needs to be strengthened.The research on the construction of immersive and online offline mixed learning environment,learning cognitive mechanism and law,personalized learning service supported by technology and other aspects has been focused on.The research paradigm of students’ behavior perception and storage,interdisciplinary integration and so on It is also faced with difficulties and challenges in the application of personalized learning service.
