Research On The Development Strategy Of Rural Primary School Sports Based On SWOT-AHP Model

To realize the modernization of Chinese education,we should vigorously develop physical education in rural school,because physical education is the weakness of Chinese education,and physical education in rural school is the weakest point.As the socialism with Chinese characteristics enters a new era,the goal of cultivating socialist talents becomes to cultivate socialist builders and successors who are a well-rounded person with "moral,intellectual,physical,artistic,and labor-oriented" development.As one of the main fronts to achieve the overall development of "morality,intelligence,physique,and labor",school physical education also has new goals in the new era,namely,to achieve "enjoyment,strengthening physical fitness,tempering will,and improving personality." However,for rural school physical education,which is the weakest point in school physical education,if the "four-in-one" goal cannot be implemented into practice,it will deviate from the "five kinds of education offered simultaneously" goal of cultivating socialist talents in the new era.Thereby,the modernization of China’s education will be impeded.XX County,Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture,Sichuan Province,used to be a"national poverty-stricken county".With the country’s vigorous implementation of the"poverty eradication" strategy in recent years,XX County had a rapid development in social,economic,cultural and educational undertakings,and successfully got rid of the title in 2020.However,whether the county has made progress in the development of rural school physical education under the educational concept of "poor county should prioritize education",or whether there are still problems that need to be solved,especially the rural elementary school physical education,which is the basic stage of rural school physical education,is worth conducting research.Therefore,through an in-depth investigation of the current situation of school physical education development in local rural elementary school,using SWOT-AHP combined analysis method,on the basis of a comprehensive and systematic analysis of the current situation of rural elementary school physical education development in this area,through empirical analysis and theoretical research to provide a theoretical basis for its school physical education development strategies.This article takes the development strategy of school physical education in rural elementary school in XX county as the research object,mainly using questionnaires,interviews,SWOT analysis,etc.to analyzes the internal advantages and disadvantages,external opportunities and threats of the development of physical education in rural elementary schools in XX County,from the aspects of physical education teaching,extracurricular sports activities,after-school sports training and competitions,and school sports conditions guarantee.Then using the Delphi method and AHP analysis,by establishing the judgment matrix of each factor to calculate the weight value of the factors among the groups,and developing a hierarchical total ranking of SWOT’s factors and the construction of strategic quadrilateral,to finally propose countermeasures for the development of school physical education in rural elementary school in this area.The research conclusions are as follows:1.The advantages of the development of physical education in rural elementary schools in XX County are:students in rural elementary school like sports;school sports equipment is fully equipped,and sports venues basically meet the standards;the rate of offering physical education course of "after-school services" is high in rural.2.The disadvantages of the development of physical education in rural elementary schools in XX County are:the concept of "emphasizing intelligence over physical education" is rooted in the education system of local rural primary school;the professional attractiveness of physical education teachers in rural elementary school is low.3.The opportunities for the development of physical education in rural elementary schools in XX County are:the country is committed to building talent training system of the new era of "five kinds of education offered simultaneously";while the local economic level is continuously improving,the expenditure on education has increased;the country is fully implementing the three-year action plan for the construction of school physical education teachers and sports facilities and venues;prevention,control and handling mechanisms of the risk of sports injury accidents are being gradually improved.4.The threat to the development of physical education in rural primary schools in XX County are:the lack of physical competition in elementary schools in this county affects the healthy operation of school sports:the rapid development of the Internet has impacted students’ extracurricular activities;the weak construction of public sports facilities in rural area affects the quality of students’ extracurricular sports activities.5.Through the AHP analysis,after inviting experts to score the weights of the SWOT factors of XX county rural elementary school sports development,it is concluded that the development strategy of rural elementary school physical education in the county should be SO strategy(i.e.pioneering strategy),which combines giving play to internal advantages and seizing external opportunities,supplemented by WO strategy(i.e.striving strategy)that seizes external opportunities and overcomes internal weaknesses(6)The development strategies of school physical education in rural primary school in XX county are as follows:1."Reform and innovation",changing the local exam-oriented education concept from top to bottom;2."Precise support",appropriate allocation of education funds to weak rural schools;3."Work hard together",strengthening the construction of physical education teachers in rural elementary school;4."adjust measures to local conditions",building a sports competition system of elementary school suitable for local development.
