This paper discusses the Art education between urban and rural areas.Take Shijiazhuang Changzheng Street Elementary School and Pingshan Beilonggong Elementary School for examples.Using the contrariety ideology of homogeneity and difference,probe deeply into the essence of art education for urban and rural areas to further explore their difference,thus change people's idea for thinking little of Art education,improve students' aesthetic abilities and teachers' professional qualities.Using the internet to achieve education resource-sharing,make a balance between conservative incomplete education of rural area and advanced open education of urban area,thus achieve equity and effectiveness in education,make improvements in quality of education for both areas.This paper adopts the empirical research method for Art education,take two elementary schools which are located in Shijiazhuang downtown and rural area as objects,compare their homogeneity and difference in teaching contents,methods and sources.Apply questionnaire method,observational method,interviewing method and comparative study to explore the reasons of the cause and provide the solutions.This paper is divided into five parts.Introduction introduces the background,purpose and significance of the study.Analyze current situation of research study for art education besides some common thoughts and methods.Roughly discusses the characteristic of urban and rural areas,which helps to find a way to coordinate urban and rural development.The chapter one discusses the current situation of the art education in Shijiazhuang and Pingshan county and its status of development,find out there is still a large gap between urban and rural areas of art education.The chapter four analyzes the reasons caused for the difference,such as teachers' professionalism,creativity and acceptability of students,the teaching atmosphere in class and after class,etc.The chapter three mainly talks about the solutions for these problems.In order to find a balance between urban and rural areas of art education,come up with an idea of achieving education resource-sharing to narrow the gap of two areas.Built a platform for educational information construction.Finally put forward the conclusion.The implement of these methods cannot only depend on teachers and schools,but also need strong support from government and the whole society.Until now,though there are so many papers discussed the Art education of urban and rural areas,there are few researches on Shijiazhuang city.This paper wants to combine both practice and theories,to make improving suggestions to be more workable and practical.
