The service objects of this study are 7 minors involved in crime who are in the period of conditional non-prosecution in H social work agency in Kunming City.Through the social investigation report and the summary of the case,it is found that the impulsive behavior of the 7 minors involved in crime is the main reason. One of the reasons is that they have unreasonable perceptions of "friends" and "buddy loyalty";they have poor control over their own behavior. And measured by the Impulsivity Scale(BIS-11),it showed that 7 juveniles involved in crime had higher scores in cognitive impulsivity and unplanned impulsivity, both subscales reflected their cognitive instability and cognitive complexity. Therefore, the main goal of this group activity is to help juveniles involved in crimes change their unreasonable cognitions and learn how to control impulsive behaviors. This research uses cognitive behavior theory and social learning theory as the theoretical basis for practical intervention.Through eight group activities,it explores the specific process of social work intervention in the impulsive behavior of minors involved in crime. In the process of group work intervention,in the early stage of group activities, the author first let the group members understand the goals and objectives of the group and the meaning of impulsive behavior;Afterwards,in the early stage of the activity, through the group members reviewing the case and discussing the case, the group members can understand the beliefs behind their impulsive behavior, and identify and debate their own unreasonable cognitions;Introduce the cognitive behavioral theory to the group members in the middle of the group activity, and let the group members know the influence of cognition on behavior,Then through melodrama performances, the team members gradually changed their unreasonable cognition during the performance, and knew the seriousness of the negative consequences of impulsive behavior. At the same time, the social learning theory was introduced to the group members, and the group members were imitated and learned to control impulsive behaviors through video,role-playing and other methods; Finally, through the performance of the team members’homework, let the team members see the reduction in the frequency of their impulsive behavior, and see their growth in this group activity,so as to strengthen the effect of change,At the same time, team members are encouraged to use cognitive behavioral theory in their later life to identify, debate and change the unreasonable beliefs behind their behaviors,so as to change unreasonable cognitions and reduce the chance of impulsive behavior. In the process of group service, the impulsiveness scale was used to test the group members before and after, and the impulsiveness level scores of 7 minors involved in crimes all decreased. At the same time, according to the homework of the group members and the comparison of the two impulsive behavior record sheets,it was found that the number of impulsive behaviors of the group members decreased, this shows that this group service is effective and feasible to intervene in the impulsive behavior of the minors involved in crimes.Based on the problems found in the process of practice, the author reflects on the application of theory and the use of professional methods of social work, and puts forward relevant suggestions for social work to intervene in the impulsive behavior of minors involved in crimes. |
