Research On The New Development Of International Movement Of Pluralism In Economics

At present,in the study and research of economics,neoclassical economics which based on strict assumptions and normative mathematical analysis is dominates.It plays an obvious guiding role in discipline research,and has an absolute advantage in university curriculum.On the one hand,Neoclassical economic theory is flawed.On the other hand,the extensively application of such a single research paradigm in economics will inevitably lead to the tendency of monism in economics.But economics is complicated,it is difficult to fully explain economic phenomena through a single research paradigm.Therefore,economics needs to be pluralism,which shows in methods,academic mechanisms and pedagogy.During the Second World War,there was an Interwar pluralism in America.The present economic pluralism was represented by Hodgson publishing the calls of "New Pluralism" in newspapers as a typical event,then there is more discussion about pluralism in economic.Supporters devoted in many aspects for it,which named international movement for economic pluralism.Besides,it is an idea to form "Chinese economics" for a long time in China,there are some common aims between them,so research on the pluralism international movement of economics will give inspirations to China’s economic development.This thesis first clarifies the reasonableness of economic pluralism based on methodology,and through the division of economic schools points out that,the research subject is based on the division of mainstream economic and non-mainstream economic,and analyzes the historical economic pluralism,then explains the current round of economic pluralism,clarifies the process of this movement.Secondly,according to the process of this round of internationalization movement,summarize its new development from three aspects: theory,academic mechanism and pedagogy,and promote the pluralism in economics through the promotion of open science,the setting of multiple courses and the use the textbooks with pluralism concept.Finally,based on the problems and the experiences reflected in the movement,as for the establish of "Chinese economics",we should implement the reform of pluralism pedagogy,adhere to the political economy of socialism with Chinese characteristics,and conduct research oriented by practical problems.
