A Case Study On The Development Of Children’s Social Work Service Capacity

As the grass-roots workers who deliver the Children’s welfare,the children’s director’s ability of service to a certain extent determines the effect of policy implementation and effective satisfaction of children’s needs.At present,the academic research on the director of children mostly focuses on the implementation of the policy,but less on the work service ability of the director of children,and less attention is paid to the work ability needed for the post of director of children,at the same time,there is a lack of ways and means to cultivate the required working ability.In order to better understand and develop the child welfare service capacity needed by the child officer,further advance the implementation of the child officer policy,and contribute to the child protection work.This research is based on the " Project for the Protection of minors in Xiji County”undertaken by the Ningxia F Social Work Organization,by means of field visits and questionnaires,we have collected the implementation situation of the policy of children’s directors in Xiji County Xiji,and based on a comprehensive understanding of the current situation of children’s work and the work ability of children’s directors in Xiji County,from the perspective of social work,a well-run and responsible director of Children’s home was selected as a case social work service object,guided by the dominant perspective and social support theory,adopting the case work service strategy of the task center model,trying to make them learn the working methods and service ability of social work through the four stages and eight times case service,with a view to explore the cultivation of children director of social work service capacity of effective methods and paths.This research has the following three conclusions:First,through the exchange,the study child protection related idea can effectively promote the child protection idea,the consciousness of the children director;Second,through the study,the use of social work theory,ways and means can effectively enhance the work ability of children’s director;Third,the ability of children’s director can not be improved without systematic and professional training.
