Old age security system in ourcountry is in a state of exploration and gradually improvement, many old age problems tobe solved. In the background of the old society, the pension problem of this special groupof the old man alone is more complicated.The rise of the group of the old man alone is because of the China’s family planningpolicy in the80s, is the reflection of disadvantages and risks in solving the contradictionbetween population explosion and economic development. Due to the loss of the onlychild in the family, this group not only has to bear huge spiritual and mental suffering,but also has to face the distress of having no children providing for the aged in death intheir later years. In the traditional family endowment broken and the security policy ofthe old man alone rarely, and under the condition of old-age security system is notperfect, how to spend the old man’s old age? As the growing of the edge groups, we needto give more attention and support to the old man alone.For the study of the lost the only child family pension problems, in this paper, weselect A Street of Beijing as the survey area, having an interview and investigation to theold man alone over60and old-age workers in the community, knowing the status quoand demand of the lost the only child family, Combining domestic and foreign relatedliterature and social work related theories for research.Each independent director is the individual, and the problem also has itsparticularity. So in this paper, the author first takes the intervention methods for Casesocial work methods, with the practice in a case study is given priority to, establishingthe cooperation relationship with egotism, collecting director’s related informationthrough various ways, and analyzing in-depth. To clarify the problems with egotism,strengthen egotism’s understanding of the existing problems, make service plans anddraw the service goals aiming at the problems. In the process of later’s intervention, thispaper intervenes to the service objects around the multi-level system social system theory, eventually helps egotism to establish the social support system, in order to realize theimprovement and guarantee of the egotism in his later life. Finally, this paper assessesthe cases, and summarizes some suggestions and discussions to the lost the only childfamily pension through the case’s service process, hopes to provide some real help to thelost family.
