With the rapid development of the sharing economy and new employment forms,a large number of new employment groups represented by logistics couriers and online food delivery workers have emerged.Affected by the policy environment,this group is not fully included in the formal social protection,there are problems such as lack of welfare,marginalization,and individual strength is not enough to deal with potential risks,so it is necessary to establish a complete social protection system to help new employment groups prevent social risks and share development results.Firstly,with reference to the measurement methods of the social protection indicator system by relevant domestic scholars,combined with the definition of the concept in the text,the "social protection" is divided into five dimensions:social security,health protection,housing protection,employment protection,and social integration,and 27 observation indicators are set up,and an indicator system for the social protection of new employment groups is established.A questionnaire was created according to the content of the indicator system,which provided direction and basis for the subsequent field research.Secondly,the paper selects the new employment group in Suzhou as the empirical research object,collects relevant data by means of questionnaire survey and unstructured interview,and adopts the partial correlation analysis,factor analysis and orderly Logistic regression analysis method to construct a model with "social protection evaluation of new employment groups in Suzhou" as the dependent variable and various indicators in the five dimensions of social security,health protection,housing protection,employment protection and social integration as the independent variables.It was also concluded that the participation rate of the new employment group in Suzhou is low,the social insurance project payment is incomplete and the coverage is small;the problems of difficulty in seeing a doctor,treating diseases are expensive,and the security is insufficient,resulting in higher health risks faced by group members;the demand for rental housing is large and the satisfaction of housing is low;labor relations are vague,overtime work is serious,it is difficult to safeguard rights,there is a phenomenon of more work and more gains,and wage income basically reaches the minimum standard;cultural life is relatively scarce,political participation is less,the connection with trade unions and other groups is weak,and social interaction is limited to the circle of acquaintances The sense of belonging to the city is not strong.Third,through in-depth qualitative description and analysis,explore the subjective feelings and demands of new employment groups at various protection levels,and use qualitative research methods to support and supplement the empirical analysis results.Finally,summarizing the advanced experience and existing problems of social protection of new employment groups in Suzhou,in view of the five specific problems of institutional obstacles to insurance participation,lack of accessibility to health protection,lack of equality in housing protection,lack of employment protection,and obstruction of social integration mechanism,corresponding policy suggestions were put forward:reform the social insurance system and expand the coverage of security;adjust health protection policies and increase the accessibility of health rights and interests;promote equal protection of housing,optimize the structure of housing security;coordinate multi-party co-governance and increase employment protection;build a social support system and dredge up the social integration mechanism.
