In recent years,the employment dilemma faced by retired athletes as a subculture group is gradually being paid attention to by all walks of life.Based on the previous studies,this paper seeks to deeply understand the subcultures of retired athletes based on empirical research.The problem of employment difficulties and its causes,and propose solutions and service plans from the perspective of social protection.Based on the literature research,this paper collects and analyzes data through indepth interviews.The research findings mainly include:First of all,the problems of re-employment after retiring athletes mainly include five aspects: difficulty in policy resettlement,low employment level and employment income,small development space,lack of employment security,and employment psychology.Secondly,the cause of the above problems is not caused by a single factor,but the result of the interaction of the policy system and individual factors.The reasons for the policy system are as follows: First,the closed training in the training process of athletes,and the separation of physical education.Second,the management system lacks supervision and the scale of the sports team is blindly expanded.Third,the level of policy formulation is low,it has no legal effect,and the content is too general and not operable.The individual level is manifested in the athlete's personal cognition and role solidification.The athlete's family environment affects the type of sports choices,and the type of sports also restricts their employment.Retired athletes with good family environment can integrate into society faster than those with retired athletes with poor family environment.Thirdly,from the perspective of social protection,under the guidance of the social protection framework,this paper uses risk management strategies to consider countermeasures in three dimensions: prevention strategy,buffer strategy and coping strategy.Based on institutional policies,the prevention strategy proposes to change the training system,improve the employment placement system,standardize the sports management system,and fundamentally solve the employment problem.The buffer strategy is based on social security,and it is recommended to improve the social security system and build sports insurance.The system solves the urgent need;the coping strategy is based on social services.It is suggested that from the perspective of social work profession,combined with the professional knowledge and help methods of social work,advocate the establishment of social service organizations for retired athletes,and propose the development of social services based on case management.The program provides comprehensive and humanized services for retired athletes to help them get out of trouble and achieve smooth employment.In summary,the author believes that the solution to social problems cannot rely solely on the unilateral power of the government or society,but the result of the government and the society working together and working together.Social work as a profession to solve social problems can be The scope of its own services has expanded to the field of sports,forming an innovative service model of “sports + social workers” to provide assistance in solving problems in the field of sports.
