| In modern tourism practice,the question of whether the tourism experience is authentic or not,that is,the authenticity of tourism,has always plagued tourists,tourism stakeholders,and researchers in tourism and tourism sociology.As a specific aspect of the social relationship practice of tourism actors under modernity,it may be a more direct way to explore the authentic experience of tourism and its influencing factors from the perspective of tourists,and to respond to the"lost in modernity" with the authentic experience of tourism actors.This paper selects the specific type of ancient town tourism,and establishes a hypothesis about the relevant factors of population and sociology that affect tourists’ experience of tourism authenticity according to the relevant interpretation of tourism authenticity theory.The impact of the authenticity of the visitor experience.The author distributed 500 questionnaires to tourists in the two ancient towns of Tongli and Zhouzhuang in Suzhou.The research results show that:(1)The four types of theoretical explanations of the authenticity of tourism experience have been verified to varying degrees among the interviewees.Authenticity,Constructive Authenticity,Postmodern Authenticity,and Existential Authenticity.Tourists have a strong perception of objective authenticity and existential authenticity when visiting ancient towns.(2)Tourists of different ages and occupations have different understandings of experience objective authenticity,construct authenticity and existential authenticity.Tourists of different genders and incomes have different feelings about postmodern authenticity.(3)The age and income factors of tourists positively affect the tourists’ experience of objectivism authenticity,constructivism authenticity and existential authenticity.Educational factors positively affect tourists’ experience of objectivism and constructivism,and negatively affect tourists’experience of postmodernism and existentialism.There is a correlation between objective authenticity,constructive authenticity,postmodern authenticity and existential authenticity.In general,the research believes that with the deepening of the modern civilization process and the transformation and creation of the production process and finished products of tourism products by modern technology,the needs of tourists have changed in the direction of diversification,and the authenticity of the ancient town tourism experience has been No longer stuck to a certain type of authentic experience,objectivism,constructivism,postmodernism and existentialist authentic experience are reflected to varying degrees in tourists with different sociological characteristics of the population.This complicates the social interaction between tourists and tourism product markets,tourism activity order rules,and tourism local residents.It is necessary for us to scientifically explain the complexity of the social relations formed in the practice of tourism action through a wider and deeper empirical study of the authenticity of relevant tourism experiences. |
