| As of 2020,the total scale of all kinds of higher education in China reached 41.83 million,the median monthly income for student is 1516 yuan which is higher than that of national average disposable income.Students are gradually becoming the mainstream consumer in China.It is also the core driving force for China’s economic growth in the future.At present,the students have asset allocation ability and financial management concepts.However,here is less financial knowledge education and training related to non-business students,and there is a lack of financial products suitable for the students,so the development of a financial product for the students can not only help the students to gain investment experience,but also help financial institutions to develop customers.This thesis analyzes the market development and policies of structured products,and proposes a design plan for the whole process of product-related parameters,linked targets,income models and marketing methods based on the needs of banks(issuers)and college students(investors).In product design,the pricing analysis of the product is carried out according to Monte Carlo simulation and B-S model,the risk analysis of the product is carried out according to the Var model and historical data,the product is compared with other similar products,and came to the following conclusions:(1)Under the current background of stricter supervision and lower interest rates,structured products have unique advantages in the ability to obtain excess returns and control risks,and have great potential for future development(2)For banks,the product’s price is a reasonable level;for investors,there is no possibility of losing the principal of this product and only 13% may obtain a rate of return lower than that of the fixed deposit.The product pricing,returns and risks are in line with the original intention of the product design(3)By comparing with other similar products,it stands out This product has the advantages of low threshold and low risk,clarifies the product’s positioning as "low-risk entry-level bank financial product in order to attract the students",with the ultimate goal of expanding customer groups,and will carry out marketing activities in a combination of offline and online in the future.The detailed analysis of structured products and product markets in this thesis helps investors to understand the financial product market and choose the products that match their risk appetite under the background of major supervision.Product design enables commercial banks to help the students establish correct investment concepts through product marketing,provide low-threshold and stable financial product products,and at the same time improve the bank’s ability to attract client and provide ideas for product innovation of financial institutions. |
