| For a long time,intellectual disabilities have been marginalized in society due to their own physical defects and lack of social ability.Improving the social adaptability of the mentally disabled is a respect for the basic human rights of the disabled and a positive effort to promote social equity.This study is based on the author’s service practice of mild intellectual disabled people in Warm Home B,A Street,Beijing,On the basis of consulting and sorting out relevant literature on the social adaptability of intellectual disabled of domestic and foreign scholars,Through participation observation and interview,starting from the three dimensions of career employment,interpersonal communication and emotional control,Analyzing the main social adaptability problems of people with intellectual disabilities,And to analyze the causes and needs of the problems,Then,under the guidance of the dominant perspective theory,Develop a group work service plan for these issues and needs,Group working methods were applied to the practice of improving the social adaptability of people with mild intellectual disabilities.The author evaluates the service process and results of group work intervention service by scale method,observation method and interview method.The results show that it is feasible and effective for group work intervention to improve their social adaptability from an advantageous perspective.Finally,on the basis of evaluation,found that the research implementation process,activity service time is short,social work intervention method is narrow,so the author thinks that social workers should pay attention to the particularity of intellectual disabled,flexible adjustment group activity content and progress,combined with other intervention service,further enhance mild intellectual disabled social adaptation ability,enhance the practice intervention. |
