This paper will focus on the low-income families,take the social assistance project of the low-income families carried out by the author during the internship at the social work service station of X street in Y City as an example,and adopt the method of stereotyped research to specifically study how to achieve real empowerment when social work carries out social assistance projects for the low-income families.Through the needs assessment of social workers,it is found that the service objects have the needs of timely access to policy information,mental health counseling,employment,broadening social support network and children’s education.On the basis of needs assessment,social workers formulated information platform plan,mental health lecture plan,employment support plan,social support network expansion plan and children’s education assistance plan in the project scheme design,and further described the design and implementation of each plan.After that,it analyzes and shows the effect of energy increase of service objects in the overall project,and comes to the conclusion that this project has certain practical effect on the energy increase of subsistence families.Finally,summarize and reflect on the project and provide the following suggestions: first,as an organization,the social work station needs to improve its resource link ability and overall planning ability;Second,as the executor of the project,social workers should have a higher professional level of social work;Third,the empowerment of low-income families can not be achieved overnight.It needs long-term cooperation and joint efforts from many parties to achieve the empowerment of low-income families. |
