A Study On The Improvement Of Volunteer Service Ability Of Social Worker Station In Ethnic Areas

With the coverage of social work stations in towns and townships,the government projects and grassroots social work tasks have also increased greatly,making the shortage of human resources in social work stations.Volunteers of low cost,easy organization,flexibility advantage meet the needs of further development,but to make volunteers for professional service,must improve volunteer service ability,cultivate a professional,normative,sustainable volunteer team to participate in social work is very necessary.This paper with W social worker station,for example,under the guidance of energy theory combined advantage perspective,through the observation,interview and questionnaire,the basic situation of social work station and the present situation of volunteer service ability,understand the volunteer service ability,and through the combination of group work and community work of social work station volunteer service ability.For volunteers in the process of service of self cognition,volunteer service values is not sound,lack of communication skills,activities of independent design and insufficient ability,design team work intervention,mainly improve volunteers in cognitive,behavioral service ability,enhance their mastery of volunteer service knowledge and skills,and guide the volunteers analysis service ability problems and residents demand,independent design and community service activities,the group work in volunteer service knowledge and skills for training.Through group work,volunteers in cognitive ability and behavior ability,in community work,volunteer planning and organization ability get good exercise,at the same time for residents brought diversified quality service,promote the spread of volunteer spirit in the community,attract more volunteers to join,promote volunteer service team,for grassroots community governance and construction.
