Design And Application Of Care Project For Children In Rural Families With Disabilities

Due to the poor economic conditions and the lack of family functions,children in rural with disabilities are difficult to get normal family care and supervision.At the same time,its own development and the exercise of rights and interests is restricted,resulting in more prominent dual weakness.How to promote the healthy development of children in rural with disabilities has become the focus of social attention.Based on the practice of the "hope house" child care project of organization L in Zibo city,and reviewing and sorting out domestic research data on problem and service projects for children in distress,we can understand the research characteristics and trends of children in distress,as well as the design background of the project,the content of the project,and the operation mode of the project through participatory observation method and literature research method.It is found that poor learning conditions,limited psychological development and block of family communication are common problems among children in rural families with disabilities.The value concept of people-oriented,helping others and self-help of social work and its scientific methods of helping others make it have certain professional advantages in solving problems such as psychological distress and family communication of children in rural families with disabilities.Guided by professional theory,use professional work methods and skills,organically combine case mode and visit mode,and provide comprehensive services from material environment improvement to personality growth assistance;Dilute the dependent funding to improve the overall function of children;Carry out continuous support,and continuously consolidate achievements;Assess needs to meet the individual needs of children from disadvantaged families in rural areas.The research and analysis found that the operation of the project has the following problems: paying attention to the individual children,ignoring the advantages of external system resources;The number of professional social workers is small and the practice method is single;The professional team personnel is not fixed,large mobility,etc.After the summary and reflection,the author puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions for project optimization: to explore the external system of children in difficulty and improve the social support network of children;Comprehensive use of three social work methods to provide comprehensive services for children in rural families with disabilities;Improve volunteer team management mechanism,ensure professional team strength and so on.
