As an important measure and achievement of targeted poverty alleviation, relocation of ex situ poverty alleviation has a profound impact on the survival and development of rural poor people after "moving to the poor nest".Guizhou Province was once one of the deep poverty-stricken areas in China. The relocation policy of poverty alleviation moved the vast majority of the difficult groups who were "unable to support one person by one soil and water" out of their original places of residence with scarce resources and fragile ecological environment, and concentrated them in cities or market towns and other areas for resettlement under the guidance of the government,so as to realize the physical space transfer and solve the problem of poverty from the root and achieved remarkable results. However,in the transfer of physical space,it should also be noted that after the relocation of poverty alleviation immigrants "airborne" urban communities, they experience short-term or long-term "severe pain" in the spatial displacement of cities and towns. In the "post poverty alleviation" era,in order to truly promote poverty alleviation in other places and realize the goal of "living stably and getting rich",we must explore the practical difficulties and practical logic encountered by immigrants in urban space,so as to promote them to achieve a high level of social adaptation in immigrant communities. This study uses qualitative research methods, guided by case studies, combined with the data collection methods of participation observation,in-depth interviews and literature research, and carries out the research from the perspective of social space theory. From the perspective of social space theory, the relocation of relocated poverty alleviation immigrants is not only a process of physical space change, but also a process of social space change. It has an impact on the living environment, livelihood mode, social relations and social group characteristics of immigrants.Ex situ poverty alleviation and relocation shape the multi-dimensional spatial form of immigrants through the form of migration, focusing on solving the problem of poverty alleviation and development of immigrants.Taking the s immigrant community in Zunyi City as a case, this study focuses on the adaptation of relocated poverty alleviation immigrants in the three dimensions of physical space, social relationship space and meaning space in social space.Driven by policy and practical needs, the first thing faced by relocated poverty alleviation immigrants after "going upstairs" is the adaptation of living conditions and survival strategies in physical space. In terms of adaptation to living conditions, with the continuous improvement of the public infrastructure of the outdoor space of the relocated immigrants, the immigrants are also faced with the adaptation of the outdoor space from privatization to public ownership and the standardization of living conditions, which not only affects the development of the neighborhood relationship of immigrants, but also makes the individualized social expression function of immigrants disappear. At the same time, certain changes have also taken place in the indoor space. After the migration, the safety and health standards of the indoor space of immigrants have been improved, and the housing area has been compressed, the degree of freedom of residential space has been reduced, and the urbanization of furniture functions has shaped the adaptation status of immigrants’ life.In terms of survival strategies, there are two strategies for relocated immigrants: non-agricultural livelihood and agricultural livelihood.Migrant workers are still the main source of livelihood of immigrants. The social relationship space mainly reflects the adaptation of interpersonal relationship and community participation of relocated immigrants.Immigrants have destroyed their interpersonal networks through relocation.Although immigrants have left their hometown, there are still many interpersonal relationships attached to rural society.Immigrants are faced with the weakening and maintenance of the original kinship, the alienation and "double birth" of geographical relations, and the establishment of industrial relationship in urban society. At the same time, the community participation of relocated immigrants for poverty alleviation also needs to adapt to the reconstruction of the main body of spatial governance and the changes of various ways of participation.Immigrants have practical difficulties in community participation, such as the imbalance of the main body of community participation and the shallowness of community participation. The meaning space is the adaptation of the cultural concept and subjective psychology of the relocated immigrants.Driven by the physical space and social relationship space, the meaning space of relocated immigrants for poverty alleviation is also facing reconstruction. In the process of subjective psychological adaptation, the relocated immigrants need to adapt to the changes of customs, fertility and education. They also face the dilemma of obvious invisible psychological boundary and fuzzy individual identity.Based on the above findings, this study draws the corresponding research conclusions.First of all, spatial displacement is a governance practice to realize poverty alleviation by relocation and resettlement;Secondly, the social adaptation of relocated immigrants to poverty alleviation in other places has multiple subjectivity and dynamics; Finally, there is an internal fit between the multidimensional nature of space and the multi-level of social adaptation. Therefore, the study believes that it is necessary to further explore the effective measures taken by relocated poverty alleviation communities in improving the social adaptation level of immigrants, and improve the adaptation level of immigrants in urban life on a larger scale, including improving follow-up support policies, preventing spatial poverty traps, expanding public activity space, reducing the social Communication Division of immigrants, actively developing spatial culture and enhancing the cultural and psychological identity of immigrants,so as to truly realize the citizenization of immigrants,Promote space justice.
